      Christian emperors, to demonstrate the benevolence of their God, would elect to merely castrate the deposed monarch instead of lopping off part of their face

        Obviously wrong but thinking about the American elections in my lifetime, I have favored the person more attractive to me in each of them, though not in primaries.
