don’t ask why I’m on this 20 day post, but this is a terrible idea. When I was an egg still discovering my gender, I hated feeling forced to give pronouns because I just wasn’t sure what they were. It did not make me feel safer to be compelled to, quite the opposite. I enjoyed when it was optional or encouraged, but hated when it was mandatory.

I am guilty of this, mostly because if I have to repost memes from somewhere, I’d rather it be somewhere off the fediverse so people don’t see double. It would be hard work to only post oc, and my oc isn’t always received as well as reposts. I personally aim for there to be regular posts by someone in the communities I post in, and collecting reposts allows me to build a backlog I could never build with oc alone.

Besides, I don’t believe in meme ownership unless it took a significant amount of artistic talent to create. Since that includes none of my posts, I do onto others as I want done onto me.

Never been a fan of this movie. It has some eugenics themes, with the world of the story being dysfunctional because people became inherently inferior. The really scary part about our current dystopia is that things suck without people being dumber than we’ve always been. It’s not a simple issue of intelligence, but culture, dominant societal scripts, and systemic issues. Comparing reality to the movie ironically takes the most simple minded viewpoint possible; people are just stupid now and weren’t in the past.

I’ve known this for years. What I’m pissed about is liberal asshats who think transphobes are the messiahs who will save their already dead rule of law.

They wish they didn’t have to kiss the ring, but at least they aren’t seeing harsher regulation from radical communist liberals.
