Yea they are 90s books. I remember wind turbines bur not solar panels or internet on Mars, but it’s been a few years since I read them so I could be forgetting. Even if it’s dated now a days I’d still say its worth a read for a science or Mars enthusiast
yeah, i know the books are written with well intent, but i kinda don’t want to create a false image of what it’s like to live on mars based on these books.
After all, living on mars today would probably be entirely different than what’s written in the books, partially to scientific/technological progress, partially because of our changed understanding of what a realistic society on mars could look like. So i’m trying to rely on new information, and create adequate, up-to-date, imaginations.
