After intense self exploration I discovered I am moneysexual. While everything else is fluid my love for money remains constant

Who told you or implied you weren’t? Under the Egg Prime Directive that is not allowed.

Seriously, it’s really not okay to go around telling other people that they are or aren’t something personal and self-defined as gender identity.

Maybe it’s different these days (ok it definitely is, when I transitioned it was definitely seen as more ok to tell someone they might be trans), but back when I was an egg it was me vs me in that discussion. “I really wish I could transition and have boobs but unfortunately I’m a cis man” type shit

Being cis is great, however, it doesn’t seem like you’re solid in this conviction yourself 🤔

Do you wanna “still be cis tho?” or would you rather be something else? What would disappoint and/or scare you more?

Look, I admire c/egg_irl and the safe space you’ve made there, but trying to control speech of other queers under some notion of a moral cause is unbelievably spooked. It’s how a queer orthodoxy gets made, and we fall into a carefully set trap made by conservative propaganda and religious bullshit.

You know what’s really conservative and “spooked”? Inturpretting a movement to respect the gender identity of other people as an attempt to control their speech.

I agree, what they’re saying reeks of that garbage “Freeze Peach” bullshit, and trying to argue for the right to misgender others in privately owned spaces.

That’s one of the most bad faith statements I’ve heard in a while. You’re basically saying that any attempt to silence people who happen to be queer, even if they are saying legitimately hurtful things, is wrong and makes you conservative. This isn’t true though. In fact, lemmy.blahaj.zone’s admins are more than happy to ban people if they are harmful, gatekeep people’s identities, or intentionally spread queerphobia themselves, and it doesn’t matter if they are queer or not.

Are you trying to say that horrible people should be allowed here just because they’re queer? Because that makes no sense, this place (Blahaj) being a safe space means that all harmful speech and content is removed, not just from non-queer people.

You talk big for a non-admin. Besides, bullying others for having different opinions on queerness is stupid, and I’m tired of safe spaces being a bat to beat people with - when we’re not even in c/egg_irl in the first place. Go mod your community how you want, don’t try and attack me because I’m not following your moral standards.
