hello hello say, do you think more abstractly or more concretely?

i jus ask cuz i read “thought” in ur bio and went WOAH i HAVE to ask this question. Because i really liked ur pfp and name i went hmm i wonder if they would he okay if i were to ask this thing and then i thought eh and posted this. That’s what u call concrete thinking apparently. But u probably already know this because u seem very reasonable and intelligent.

You are free to ask whatever you want, delivered in good faith as you have:-).

I am good at concrete thinking - that’s true, and I got way better as a result of schooling, which I always was good at and was rewarded for compliance thus kept going.

But I also tend to think abstractly too. I’m really not as good as that one, so not as confident, but even so I persist bc I want to do it. And that has worked really well for me in the past, although it’s super rare and I can’t just jump on it - it takes so much time. I find that it’s the only one of the two though that is emotionally rewarding.

Does that answer help any at all? :-D
