Heat is ok, but being cold is unbearable for me so I take this any day

Ooh, awnings are a good idea! I’ve been thinking about retrofitting my windows with shutters or something, but they’d block out a ton of light, too. A simple awning would be easier to install, let light in, and keep my windows in the shade.
Winter is great, you can pile on blankets and not be uncomfortable in your own home!
