    YUP.

Jill Stein has done more damage to the green movement in America than anyone else could have. She exists solely to damage Democrats and more importantly damage leftists. Her goal is to delegitimize and marginalize the green movement. She sucks all the money that could be spent doing real good at local levels where environmental issues can have the most effect. Presidential boondoggles all while City councils local Mayors local Congressman Etc could be affected.

    Just to be clear.

Enemy action is not what horseshoe theory describes either though.

If jill Stein and the green party were serious about being elected then they’d be supporting state and local green party candidates. You never hear about jill Stein at midterm elections stumping for congressional seats.

The greens aren’t a serious political party, they’re cosplayers running a pyramid scheme

To be fair, Jill Stien isn’t running her own Instagram account. It’s probably some intern that’s scrolling through comments and liking anything that says, “vote Green.”

She’s not even anti genocide. Russia bombs hospitals and schools and kidnaps children and attempts the extermination of the Ukrainian people, she doesn’t object to that. In fact when it comes to the genocide of Ukrainian people she says we should stay out of it cuz it doesn’t affect us. Which is an interesting stance this take if you claim to be anti- genocide.

My conscience won’t allow me to vote for someone who is handing weapons to mass murderers. I’m not wasting my vote, I’m using it exactly how I want to use it. I wish I could compartmentalize the way you do and focus on the bigger picture but I just won’t be able to sleep if I give my vote to a genocider. I’m sorry

I wish i could be a single issue voter. It’d be so much easier to sleep at night if i could arbitrarily pick a single issue then vote for the candidate that pays it lip service. All those xtians voting for trump because they hate abortion. Just like them you’ll throw vote for Stein because she’s spoken out about 1 of the 3 genocides happening right now, and she’s got your vote! How lucky you are. It’s kismet that a candidate like Stein exists for you to feel good about your vote.

If Jill Stein wins the election, then breaks the defense treaty the US has with Israel, what do you think Netanyahu does with his nuclear arsenal?

Do you think Stein will continue to honor the defense treaty the United states has with Ukraine in their fight against Russia? What do you think world leaders will think about United states treaties and agreements if Stein breaks one of them?

I want my government to stop arming and defending the complete annihilation of Palestinian people and civilization. I don’t have a say in what those other leaders do I only have a say in what my leaders do and enabling a genocide is beyond the bounds of what I’m willing to support or vote for.

The whole thing is money, all the way down. It’s only slightly different from rooting for your favorite sportsball stars until the electoral college (among other things) is brought into the modern age. The sooner these Cold War relics are out of office worldwide, the better our entire species’ chances get.

Russia is doing this to fringe parties all over Europe – it simply doesn’t matter to them whether they are left or right or whatever. So you get communist, leftist, fascist and populist parties all repeating Putin’s phrases. And in this case, the green party’s candidate.

Everyone defending Stein needs to ask themselves why in the world they would ask for votes for trump if you aren’t voting green.

There’s only one answer and just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s not true.

      A-fucking-men.

They can say they’re voting green because the Democrats are too conservative for them, but if that’s their go-to excuse then I’d say it’s time to dump them now no? The party they support is just a lie to get conservatives in office.

Funny how she only pops up during presidential elections and doesn’t seem to give two shits about the green party during literally any other election.

        It’s on page 69420 huehuehue.

The answer is: she’s either a puppet being paid to help conservatives win power by taking potential Democratic voters, or she genuinely wants to help conservatives win power by taking potential Democratic voters. There’s no reality where she’s progressive or “left” of anything short of fascism.

When every goddamn election is down to like 13 people in some swing state then every vote matters. An exaggeration of course but not by much…

The answer is that Jill Stein is almost none of the things that people are accusing her to be in this thread. She didn’t tell anyone to vote for Trump over democrats. She isn’t Putin’s puppet or a Russian spy just because she had dinner at the same table as Putin once. She never was anti-vax (i think she said people should be allowed the freedom to choose for themselves). She isn’t a spoiler candidate and voting for her isn’t a vote for trump.

All this shit is propaganda that’s worked very well on democrats in the US.

The comment that was liked says to “vote her if not Trump”, it doesn’t say to vote “Trump if not her”.

A very important nuance. A more charitable explanation is that she is trying to get undecided voters. Which is exactly what a presidential candidate is supposed to do.

      “vote her if not Trump”,

Sounds like Stein puts up a clear either/or choice for people. In other words, if you aren’t voting for the weird orange felon, deprive Kamala Harris of a vote, and everyone knows Jill hasn’t a chance in hell of winning. It is not nuanced at all.

Can you please explain to me how that “dinner with Putin” is important? I keep seeing people referencing it, I’ve seen the photo and read the articles. Also, if you search, there are other photos of putin with other politicians, should I assume they are all bought and paid for if I can find a picture of two people together?

I’m more for factual information. This post of a reddit screen-shot by a poster who put up shitty information that’s irrelevant seems really popular, is this just like an internet fan-trolling on 3rd parties in the US that both the left and right love to perform? I don’t expect this to change if we even had a change in our electoral process, just more hating on other parties at this point.
