Is that really what ADHD + anxiety is like? I feel like I do this several times a day… 😰

My wife saw a comic by ADHD Alien that made her realize she should probably get checked out.

I don’t actually recommend using memes or comics as a replacement for a diagnosis. Usually the successful ones are super relatable, like I relate to them even though I don’t have ADHD. But if they’re super relatable then that might prompt you to educate yourself about it.

also make sure to Google realistic portays of the diagnostic criteria.

First year of uni I gave adhd a google, and dismissed it. Over the next few years I slowly realised that those simple words that didn’t mean much, actually attempt to simplify much larger issues I didn’t even notice were there. Personally I’d suggest reading about the lives of people with adhd and seeing if their stories feel a bit too close to how yours is going.

Or just chat with people with adhd, we’ll clock you in a matter of days (if not minutes). There’s a certain specific vibe to neurodivergent folks, I can’t describe it in mere mortal words but it feels like communicating on the same wavelength, suddenly talking becomes easy
