Yes, but to be fair, the question was when someone would be booked for doing it, not when someone would break the law.
Joke’s on you, my life force is just bone-hurting juice in disguise :3
Wise words, Sugar Babies Local 42069 is a great union.
Yeah I end up programming them with the Ultimate Software, usually to the stick buttons, but it would be nice to set them to stuff like bringing up the Steam Keyboard. There’s already a switch on the back of those so you could have a Steam Input mode and a Ultimate Software mode easily.
Valve also contribute heavily upstream into the Wine project, but there are some fixes which “couldn’t” be upstreamed until v10. As well, the most recent Linux kernel has added some changes which specifically help with Wine and gaming.
Wanna lick boot a little harder there?
Posie Parker’s anti-trans rally, March 18, 2023. Nazi’s threw the salute, the cops protected them, and while they did so they beat and pepper-sprayed a number of LGBTQ+ counter-protesters. VicPol’s actions were condemned, and a big part of why the salute was outlawed in this state.
February 4, 2024, protesters douse VicPol members with paint at the Midsumma Pride March. VicPol comes out labelling them as “thugs” despite the fact that protests have occurred for over a decade against their participation.
One year later, Midsumma issues a directive banning wearing of uniforms by marching members of the emergency services. VicPol withdraws, citing organisers denying them from having armed support/security.
I can keep going if you would like more dates and references. We could discuss other Australian events, like the first Mardi Gras. Or international events, like the Stonewall Riots. Suffice it to say that police, including VicPol, have been suppressing the freedom and rights of LGBTQ+ people the world over for a very long time. Unless you’re a member of the community, which I suspect you’re not, you couldn’t possibly understand the depth of that. A few token actions to try and counter that, does not make the apple any less rotten.
I think that’s not quite right, otherwise you could say that Rufus is the same. Ventoy is a Live USB tool that allows you to drag and drop ISOs onto a storage device and boot them without needing to image the device at all. It has its own interface that it boots into, that lets you select which ISO to then boot up.
Tough call. My heart wants to say July 1, 2026. But my head says pawbably never because VicPol have some serious anti-LGBTQ+ issues.
hello fellow chicken enthusiast! :3
I use this constantly by the way heh
It’s entirely possible that the concrete was dry enough that only a fall from height could cause the imprint, as well as the fact that any very small footprints (that’s a really small frog) were already weathered away. I think if it had died there, that more evidence of that would persist.
Edit: The resolution is also bad enough that any small footprints may be missed.
Neither did it either: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_rat_hole
Nah I reckon that was a post-pouring splat I think, à la the Chicago Rat Hole.
I think it’s a lot of things honestly. For example, it’s not surprising that education continues to be attacked so much in the US, as it reduces the prevalence of right wing opinions based off all polling. I think it’s a big cause of the shift to the right among Gen Z, and I think the only thing that’s going to fix it critical media literacy, which it might be too late for a bunch of that generation, and even some of Gen Alpha.
What I will say is that over the last ~15yrs, globally, we’ve seen a hard shift towards the right wing of politics. But a lot of that has happened on the internet in specific spaces where folks have been radicalised, and if you get into niche enough communities then you just don’t see it really at all.
Anymore information on this? I remember they temporarily took down an lgbt instance for having an illustration of two high school aged girls kissing, but* that was restored.
Watching it for the first time (several months back), it genuinely made me feel deeply disgusted that indigenous Australians aren’t afforded the same right to representation in our parliament. They don’t have the opportunity to protest as powerfully, though Lidia Thorpe certainly came close:

If this is actual silver, then it’s not a perfect spoon to me. I had a magnet implanted into my right pinky finger for stimming reasons, and for me a perfect spoon must be ferromagnetic (i.e. attracted to magnets, steel).
