      That’s only true from a calorie standpoint.
      The carbohydrate structure is much more complex and is released much slower than with refined white sugar.

      No one has ever gotten diabetes from eating to many berries alone (no data to back this claim up, but this is the internet. I’ll take a leap)

      Calorie wise berries are just natural sweeteners to give food flavor. If you’re eating berries for national values you are probably eating berries wrong.

        The large quantities of bioactive compounds place blueberries high on the Aggregate Nutrient Density Index (ANDI). This index rates foods based on their vitamin and mineral content, phytochemical composition, and antioxidant capacity.

        I feel like that is a pretty valid reason to eat a berry over just adding sweetener
