My issue is iCloud has its own security issues that arguably precede and outweighh any potential local authentication issues. But I def want to thank and honor your response

Edit: I can do Airplay/Screen mirroring between like 4/5 different devices without iCloud, I don’t think that’s so much an issue if my analogy here is relevant to the points you raised
