Engels’ work The Principles of Communism is a very effective and concise overview of classes and what makes each class distinct.
I find that Engels in general is very much underappreciated. His writing is much easier to read than Marx in my opinion.
I generally agree, though Marx’s writing style varied greatly throughout his life and depended on his audience. A lot of what he wrote was quite clear.
Oh yeah, not trying to suggest Marx isn’t worth reading.
