Adult injury: Ordered a pepperoni pizza.
Don’t forget “stood up too fast”
And I just make that face while waiting for the terrain to reload.
Walked wrong.
Adult injuries are just echoes of the childhood injuries we walked away from. That thrown baseball bat to the knee when I was 10, yeah, it’s crunchy now.
I sit on my own nuts a lot more the older I get. 😬
I’m approaching 40 in the next few years.
I was pretending that a kid hit me too hard and I jerked by head back a bit.
It didn’t hurt right away, but I knew right away that something was wrong.
It was extremely minor, but I had neck pain for the next 2-3 days.
Doctor: “As you can see here, you fractured your cartilage.”
You: “That’s possible??”
Ow my cartilage
my sister got rear ended in her driving test, so lightly that there was basically no visible damage in either of the vehicles. she had neck pain and numbness for 3 years.
Drank water too fast.
I slept wrong and now my neck is jacked up. I asked my husband to massage it and it’s helped but the fuck is wrong with you, human body, sleep is something that should never hurt!!!
Landed on neck after a snowboard jump, totally fine.
Decade later…
Lift a wooden chair the wrong way, threw out back.
I’m an adult and I recently ended up on bedrest for a week for wearing roller skates down too steep of a hill at the same time as pulling my shoulder because my bag was too heavy.
often all of these happen to me in one week. except the tree thing, I’m physically too weak to climb a tree
it helps if you weigh 20 kg
I’m not a doctor, but that probably isn’t healthy as an adult
