    I’m not trans myself, but Oberon by Lump always felt like it was a non-trans trans song. Apparently the lyrics are just from various jotted ideas in Laura Marling’s notebook.

    Don’t call me by my old name
    Cruel as you are to bring up old pain
    I tried to play the boys’ game
    Yes, I’m all for change till it takes my name

    It’s also an incredibly beautiful song.
