I think its kind of silly to say doing a nazi salute doesn’t make you a nazi. If we don’t draw the line there, we keep moving the goalpost and before yoi know it we are discussing if guantanamo bay should be used as a concentration camp for immigrants and spoiler alert, too late it will be.
It doesn’t “make” him a Nazi, rather it shows once again he’s long been one. After all he has directly profited off apartheid
It’s a consistent critique. I was trying to play on the current argument that his salute was ambiguous, since so many of Musk’s behaviors before that moment indicated his Naziness, his monarchism and fascism and unending lust for power.
But then I suck at memes, even with practice.

Someone recently posted a comparison of Musk “sending his heart” and doing the Nazi salute. In the sending his heart gif he uses two hands to form the shape of a heart, and then gently pushes that away. In the Nazis salute gif he does a mother fucking Nazi salute.

I mean you can do that. They often seem inaccessible to me. Certainly, my stanch-MAGA father is. But then the next step is for Trump’s weaponized law-enforcement machine to come collect you for the detention centers.

I would have called him a fascist and a monarchist (interested in being king, himself) but memes seem to work better using simple street language unless explaining the language itself.
e.g. The scary part is not the fascism, but the one-party autocracy, which can marry / fuck /kill the public without its consent. The fascism just slows dissent and unrest.

Himmler was a militay/police guy (e.g. head of the SS), the propaganda minister was Goebbels. Musk is far more similar to a propaganda minister than to an SS head.
Before his direct involvement, he was more like the BMW and Porsche moguls who financed NSDAP to put down the communists. Though now, yeah, he’s trying to play as a principle official.
