Start infights. Identify ideological differences that are relatively close to fifty-fifty in support and inflammatory in nature, and pick a side and be really loud about it, especially detracting from the opponents. DeSantis/Trump would be a good one. Maybe “Russia is better than America” from the right would get some bites

Accusing our opponents of being liberals is something we are already proficient at. It’s not our fault if they have never read a dictionary and don’t realize we’re talking about something different to what they are.

Extremely important: teach them the word “tankie”. Once they start using it the exact same way “leftists” use it the “leftists” will literally shit themselves, cry, and then be forced to spend a few years inventing a new word for anyone they find insufferable.

Once they invent another word, we can teach that to the right too. Rinse and repeat and the “leftists” and right will be too busy fighting each other to fight us.

    Edit: /s

Idk why you’re down voted, I think you’re right. Also aren’t tankies part of the left, leftist infighting aside?

Edit: To clarify, giving them a word that makes leftist infighting seem silly seems, pointless. The only people on the left I know of that use the word tankie literally don’t even try to understand the other side. It’s not taking a word away from them that’s going to stop it. It’s by approaching every conversation with humility, and explaining them the theory they so clearly lack. If even so they think you’re wrong (and bring arguments, ofc), and you can’t defend using theory, then maybe they’re right? I don’t understand, isn’t this the point of the whole reading part everyone agrees we should do?

It’s a “sarcasm” symbol, but it basically boils down to “just joking around”. Spanish speakers also use (?) For the same purpose

Post Marxist quotes over an image of Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush. But like, make it agreeable. In my experience right wing people will agree with leftists on most issues if you never actually say it’s a leftist position.

Another idea, make them believe corporations are Marxist and so should be abolished. :)

Just get them to agree with you on things we actually believe in like corrupt corporations bad and gun rights good and then say yeah if only we had a socialist system all of that could be true.

I guess it depends on which kind of alt-right, but if it’s USA trump fans, you can get them to talk about Clinton’s emails with regards to toppling Gaddafi and others.

Use the ““FREE/DOM”” fake neopronoun people’s pronouns as though they were serious, eg. ‘FREE was saying that DOM own freedoms were being violated’, and if they say they say they have no preferred pronouns/ don’t believe in pronouns, refer to them in the opposite of their gender presentation or with ze/zir neopronouns. Never fails to piss them off.

Post deceptively titled links that actually lead to pictures of your asshole. If you’re feeling modest, then it can be someone else’s asshole.
