Not if it’s sending DNA data to another country.
Does it have regulatory or FDA approval?
And cars. Not if the EV is undercutting economies and has suspect standards as well as potential issues with lack of long term support or even repair.
I’m not trying to be a jerk, but my whole life those ‘Made in China’ things are often not the best quality. Economically it’s a lot less expensive, perhaps but quality speaks volumes. I mean, look at Tesla, I’ll never buy one now.
Add to the fact that it’s technologically decked out to some degree too, and the cybersecurity there is also suspect.
Made in China can be crap and often is but they do make good stuff.
If the cars are unsafe then do not allow them to be sold in the US. The solution is not to ban China from exporting to the United States it’s to just increase safety standards of cars in general in the United States. Which of course they already know but don’t want to do because car manufacturers in the US want to keep making cars at the current standards. They just don’t want to have to compete with China.
And if you think cars are safe in the US think about why the cyber truck is only sold in the US and not in Europe. Safety or lack thereof.
All companies handing US medical data have to comply with HIPA.
suspect standards
This is also a cop-out.
All cars sold in the US have to meet US regulations.
I’m not trying to be a jerk
You’re grasping at straws trying to excuse our representatives representing capital over us. Can’t sell $60,000 SUVs when a $20,000 EV is higher quality.

Across the board: No thanks.

For a very long time “made in Japan” held the same connotations of inferiority. Look at those manufacturers now.
