Because I have news for you buddy, one of those parties is going to result in the death of millions of Americans, plus millions of additional Gazan and Ukrainian and possibly Taiwanese deaths. It may not affect you because you’re privileged enough to be in the “in” group, but your disdain for your countrymen speaks volumes about your character, and you should be ashamed. That’s what’s at risk this election. Don’t let your moral high horse cloud your view.
I want to see FPTP reform just as everyone else on Lemmy, and I’d love to see a third party rise up, but we need to still have a country in 2025 to even attempt reform.

Attitudes like yours are exactly what is keeping young people from joining your party. And inspired me to volunteer more, donate more, and advocate more for the Green Party.
