This community seems more active than it’s been in the past

        I mean, thank god for that. Google is essentially useless unless you stick “reddit” at the end. De-indicise Reddit and Google becomes essentially useless.

        It’s still bad though. The fact that there is a special case just for Google, and search engines have to pay to indicise Reddit is egregious. I miss the plain text web… :/

            It depends on what you’re searching I guess.

            I mostly search for solutions to weird problems or for product reviews/recommendations from actual users, so adding “reddit” works great for that.

    when one person posts other people feel more comfortable posting, and more posts ensue

    This community goes through waves of posts. We have been very active lately though! I was on vacation all last week and at some point things got very busy here haha. It’s always nice to see.

    Reddit has been going through numerous changes that, generally, it’s users dislike.

    So there will be waves of people leaving reddit most likely; as they spin away from serving the user; to serving profits.
