Reminds me of a partner’s childhood pastor warning them not to spend too much time questioning their faith, because in their experience it had led a lot of people away from the church. Gee, maybe think about how that sounds. Like, you basically just told them that your beliefs couldn’t withstand interrogation.

It’s such a bother every July when the LGBT+ agenda steamrolls in and destroys my decades of marriage and traditional looking dad/mom/child family. All because they’re different and don’t like that we exist.

Oh wait, I mean the complete opposite of that, because I give a shit about people and don’t run my life on fear, hate, and ignorance.

Godspeed flattening the Christian values though.

it is also disability pride month but I haven’t seen anyone on lemmy mention that, only this wrath month stuff

I do like the idea of wrath month being against companies profiting off of pride but I just wish it hadn’t overwritten the disability pride month

I, for one, am too disabled to get to a pride parade and march. It also doesn’t help that I burst into flames in the sun like a vampire. (Okay, I exaggerate. I go into shock in less than an hour in direct July sunlight. I might be a vampire.)

At the point that we can augment ourselves with cybernetics to not just mitigate disability but to have transhumanist advantages, we won’t need a pride month so much as a remember the normies ᴀɴᴅ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇʏ ᴅɪᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴜꜱ ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴡᴇ ᴡᴇʀᴇ ᴡᴇᴀᴋ month. (Same thing we do every year, Pinky.)

No, but it might be a matter of finding volunteers. I am terribly embarrassed when I cross someone else’s boundaries without consent. I had to send a stepdaughter into her sister’s room to fetch the house vacuum.

You should try to get to your local hospital and do volunteer work for blood donations. Maybe they will also donate something for you.

“Traditional values”, “sanctity of marriage”, and “Christian values” were already eroded before the large acceptance of lgbt from 2010s onwards.

They never really were. Kings forked new religions to be able to divorce, popes screwed around more than prostitutes in medieval times, and the church has been one of the richest, most bloodthirsty power in history
