I’m always a little surprised that people go to such effort to create a meme, but can’t be bothered to check their spelling.

Because George wrote a 3 act story which was too big and detailed to be crunched into a 1.5 hour film. So he chopped it up into 3 parts, and started with part 1.
When Lucas was first making Star Wars, it originally had “Episode IV” in the title before he removed it and released the original without a number. He was worried it wasn’t going to do well financially.

I just rearranged the Episodes so that they match the word order from yoda (for OCD reasons).
