This seems like a bullshit use of Congress’ time - but better this than constant attacks on the rights of US citizens.

I mean this kindly, but I think you should examine your standards of evidence a bit.

Consider that this guy has gone on record saying he’s in danger for revealing this information, but stops at actually releasing the classified documents he has seen.

In order to publically speak about what he’s talking about, he would’ve needed to go through a standard security process whereby he was essentially told what information he was allowed to reveal and what he couldn’t. So you need to ask yourself; if the government is running these secret programs on UFOs and is in league with killer aliens to blackmarket their tech, why would they sign off on him revealing that information, but the documents he has that aren’t even first hand evidence are a bridge too far?

There’s a good video by a guy named Nick West that points out some gaps in the logic of Grusch’s claims and why they’re most likely not true. Grusch doesn’t necessarily need to be a bad actor, maybe just honestly confused or mistaken, and I myself would very much like for alien contact to be real, but I don’t think this is it. It’s us being told by a guy who got told by some other guys that a thing happened and no one is ponying up any hard evidence, which to my mind isn’t very strong.

I’ll give the video a watch. I will say though I didn’t mean that I believed him completely, I just feel inclined to a degree. Some of his stuff is more than a little kooky.

Are you aware that his he has said that they don’t have the evidence to ascertain origin and has speculated that they may not be from another planet but from another dimension?

        With voyeuristic intentions?

        Well secluded… they see all!

(great, now that song will be stuck in my head all day)

No reason to think there aren’t other dimensions, and if there are any there might as well be an infinite number, and surely in an infinite number of dimensions someone in at least one of them discovered how to travel between them.

I think you’re confusing dimensions with parallel universes.

Dimensions are just coordinates needed for describing an object.

In practical physics, we have 4 dimensions, 3 to define an objects location (e.g. x, y, z) and 1 for it’s moment in time.

I’m not trying to be argumentative or even contrary. I was just legitimately curious if you were aware that some of the claims and speculation being made go WELL beyond the headline here.

Oh no, I didn’t think you were at all. I’m aware of what he believes and says and I think some of it is kind of plausible to me personally
