minus-squareChe Banana@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up19·7 months agoI’m getting banned less since moving to Beehaw? So for me it’s personal growth.
minus-squareAussiemandeus@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up10·7 months agoI’ve no idea how offensive you are man, but made me laugh
minus-squareChe Banana@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up9·7 months agoI’m not, really. I admit I cannot tolerate people who make political ideales their whole identity, and when pointing out the hypocrisy I’m often put upon the wall as an example to those who may question authority. That, and maybe one or two fart jokes too many.
minus-squareAussiemandeus@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up6·7 months agoYeah it is an ongoing issue I’m having with lemmy as a whole too, the overmoderation seems heavier handed then Reddit sometimes
minus-squarewhoreticulturelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·7 months agoSomeone banned me because I questioned a temp ban (I thought it was an actual ban), and then the mod said I was “asking for it” like how transparent can the power trips get?

minus-squareOmega_Haxors@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·7 months agoPretty much. Beehaw has a default political ideology (neoliberalism) if you’re on that train than perfect, if not you won’t last long.
minus-squareLiz@midwest.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·7 months agoI would assume it’s because you’re now blind to the communities that enjoy banning people. Beehaw was pretty clear that they want to keep things nice.
minus-squareChe Banana@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up4·7 months agoExactly, and most of the the negativity is gone, a lot less anger-bait to browse through, and waaaay fewer extremists & shills. Basically what my mental health needed.
