For the record, I think punishing anyone for what personal choices they made in their own private lives, that doesn’t harm anybody else, is a disgusting violation of human rights by any metric and should be stopped immediately, but so is trying to shame people for eating a sandwich in an entirely different country and not the murderers. pretty sure I saw the guy who changes the oil in your car eat chic fila also so unless you feel like auditing everywhere you spend money exhaustively nothing is going to change this way. why not bring a lawsuit against the Cathy’s for human rights violations instead of this hashtag #activism?

If hitler is my Uber passenger I can turn him down on my personal preference but if I drive a bus for the city and hitler happened to get on it there’s not much I can do but shoot him a dirty look. pretty sure if you get enough people to stop buying chick fila all you would do is get some high school kids fired when they scale back hours.
