did it really fail? I was under the impression it just became too much to maintain for a FOSS community, in addition to an already robust 3D modeling software suite. I don’t know how many people actually used it.

it is interesting to see unreal go a different route, they are making 3d modelers and even audio/video editing tools in house to try and make it so you never have to leave the engine.

you never used open careers mod? it sort of works how like university life did. you get career progression from using associated objects, and are otherwise are free to talk to your coworkers, grab lunch, etc during the work day.

I find unreal less clunky actually because you don’t have to make a sub gameobject for everything. With unreal you can nest actor components within the same actor if it makes more intuitive sense to handle things that way.

logically inconsistent analogy. pretty sure I saw the guy who changes the oil in your car eat chic fila also so unless you feel like auditing everywhere you spend money exhaustively nothing is going to change this way. why not bring a lawsuit against the Cathy’s for human rights violations instead of this hashtag #activism?

I wish I had the time to learn more about modifying gnome. I like what nobara did with it but I miss desktop widgets too much. pop’s version lets you categorize your apps into their own folders which is such a breath of fresh air. but true it does just work. default gnome for me is really only good for for x11 compatability issues though

Although, most static analyzers like those in visual studio or clion would give you away once you hover mouse over true. Also, real C programmers don’t use booleans so I think those dudes are safe.

I don’t either but I do have a oculus VR headset, so I guess I won’t be using the meta vr store anymore and I wasted all my money on these vr apps instead of using steam.
