New rules are coming for nutrition labels on alcoholic beverages. Advocates want stronger health warnings as well. What do we know about how they would work?
However, I’m disappointed this had nothing to do with having to label alcohol with any applicable allergen warnings. Liquor in the United States does not require you to disclose whether it contains allergens, like nuts.
Fortunately, one can search for it online to figure it out… But it’s definitely more difficult than just reading the label.
