I don’t mind memes and stuff like that at all. I would agree with @KingStrafeIV@midwest.social, once the memes and stuff get out of hand it can start to drown out useful conversation.
I say post and let people decide what they want to see. If we see some backlash then we can start to reign things in or modify as needed. “Meme Mondays” or something of the sort is a good, contained way to still have them be present.
Love it! Even though I am not from there they play a big influence in the midwest area, and are one of the nicer areas for camping I have found so I go there often.
Would love to see input on info from the area from locals so hopefully they also join.
This is great! Love having something I can send people when trying to introduce them other than me trying to explain it.
You’d think with all the money they get from lobbying and fundraising they could just pay one competent person with a gun to write their legislation properly. People sell their souls against what they love all the time for a huge wad of cash lol
Is it just me, or does the change in the clarifications for this just seem like common sense and something they should have been addressing the first time around if they actually understood the gun industry?
Have you reached out to anyone else who runs a Lemmy server and seen if they are also experiencing this?
Do you think it is a bottlekneck or just due to large updates from other servers?
Yo, just some dude who lives in Chicago and likes open source stuff and wanted to move to a reddit alternative. Love all different types of stuff as long as it’s new and interesting.
Love seeing older ladies in here! Mine isn’t this old yet but love my lady cat as she starts to get a little older and wiser.
