I agree. Crossposting by reuploading is fine, hotlinking maybe not so much, as they could yank access or track and sell your activity. Generally giving them traffic is bad.

I have a simple solution to this: If you are the moderator of your community, just put a rule in the sidebar disallowing OF links and references. Handle it on a per-community level.
Sorry for the late response. I appreciate your honesty, and I’m interested in bringing you aboard. Thank you for your reply, and welcome to the team.
Edit/Note: Buelldozer has switched accounts based on persona preference, and will be continuing to mod but under a different name.
I am still looking for help. I mostly am looking for light-touch moderation (i.e. Giving people room to express themselves, even if it’s not a happy discussion, and stepping in only when absolutely necessary).
As far as the BDSM specific element goes, since you are a bit newer to the kink/interest in general, would you be willing to expand on any of the following safety topics to help give me a better feel with your engagement with it? There are a lot of ways that various things can go wrong with bdsm, and while this will mostly be a porn community, discussion is bound to happen and we may have to step in to give more experienced advice.
What is the primary distinguishing factor between SSC and RACK, and where would each one apply?
What types of physical harm do riggers (shibari) have to avoid, and what tools and techniques would they use to avoid them? (At least one physical tool and one process)
Instead of using a “safe word” like pineapple or eggplant, what is generally considered a better system?
It is, and I absolutely love it.
It’s not so much a podcast as a general YouTube channel, but Evie Lupine and Ms. Elle X are good listens and generally do long-form content.
I’ve never been into podcasts so I don’t have great direct feedback for you on that front. I’ll post again if I do find something.
That sounds great, though with the pace of things right now, that may be too much. Whatever pace works best for you, it’s greatly appreciated.
Sounds good, let’s give it a shot then.
That’s fair. I tend to prefer light-touch moderation (basically only removing or blocking/banning when something becomes a real problem), so not being able to review history in other communities is fine since we’d only be judging on what we see here.
No sharpie counters on the legs?
