What do you mean it’s not worth it? If you use the company’s computer it’s on them to handle all the liability. If you use your own computer then you’re now on the hook. It is 100% worth it to use the company-provided computer.

I’ve had a LR3 for about 8 years. It was $500 back then too. Still works really well. Sometimes I have to replace parts, but the maintenance is fairly simple and Whisker has YouTube videos for how to do everything. Still highly recommended. Worth every penny.
