I’m playing through the first Death Stranding, which I’ve really been enjoying. The gameplay did not hook me initially, but it grew on me. I’m a sucker for a good narrative and so I progressed because I wanted to know what was happening.
I’ll want to play the second one afterwards, but I’m thinking that I’ll take a break in between. Maybe try Sword of the Sea? It looked pretty cool.
I was thinking the same thing! He actually didn’t come up with those - his were Yan tan tethera :) The picture is hexadecimal if you are interested like I was!
Polka-dot tree frog, in case anyone else was wondering!
I think it’s supposed to be “standard-bearer”, which (at least in my part of the world) would more likely be called a “flag bearer” since more people are familiar with the word “flag” over “standard” when used in that sense of the word.
Also, it looks like it was originally called alfil (according to this Wikipedia article? Whereas the Italian “alfiere” came from a different Spanish word meaning “second lieutenant”?
Because of OP’s title, I’m now imagining a “British” debuff. What’s that like? “Scurvied” ? Or “stabbed”?
