I bought D4 reluctantly and it’s OK, I guess, but I’m kinda bored of it already. The art is spectacular but the gameplay is kinda dull.

You bet! I’m actually trying to make a game (PC base builder called Adaptory). I’ve been playing a lot of Timberborn and Diablo 2 recently.
I found the breakdown super interesting:
That’s so weird because as a mod it’s mostly just unpaid boring work, with the occasional dozen-pages-of-penises thrown in. I’m really enjoying the break tbh.
There’s actually quite a bit of content on the Threadiverse at the moment, I think it’s about discovery now! Kbin is pretty good at finding new threads/topics and suggesting random communities. https://programming.dev/ has heaps of software communities.
It’s becoming less and less likely, the more that Reddit keeps on messing up. Threatening moderators and undeleting posts??
Hmm not that I know of! Gosh I am tempted to pull out an IDE and make some fixes but I don’t know Rust yet
Looks good to me 😊 Maybe for #6, do you mean “community moderators”? Maybe include a direct link to a page of the moderators/admins?
Something that really blew me away is apparently Reddit has 2000 employees.
What the heck are they doing??
Awesome! (I was the creator of /r/palmy back on the R-site but I don’t live there anymore 😅)
If it gets to that stage - Patreon is a pretty decent way to get support! I’m supporting my Mastodon instance through there. There’s also an Open Collective thing https://opencollective.com/ocnz
Hii! Thank you for setting this up! Looking forward to fun times and hangouts :D
I wish it didn’t modify our copyright term. +50 to +70 years is a real shame. :(
