And they kick you out of the Walmart!
Narrator: It was March 5th.
Just because you’re being pedantic doesn’t necessarily mean you’re wrong to say it.
I’m in this picture. My main medication seems to have pretty mundane effects, and there’s a chance that it will completely shut down my liver. However my quality and duration of life have gone way way up and I have no regrets.
binarytobis@lemmy.worldto movies@piefed.social•Which movie was it for you? (where the actions of the bad guys were actually relatable?)26·6 days agoAbsolutely not. Thanos is the least understandable any villain has ever been to me. If a planet barely had enough people to survive? Halve the population. If the planet has 4x the ideal number of people? Halve the population. Neither group knows why this thing happened to them. The first dies out, the second is back to the same level in two generations. Everyone is miserable.
Even ten minutes of half-hearted contemplation will give you dozens of better alternatives. He literally had infinite power. Why not make every being in the universe aware of the overpopulation and willing to act on it? At the very least he could tell the survivors why he did it so they can change their behavior.
His behavior makes no sense. He should have thought of a better plan in the time it took to find the stones.
Both are example of stubborn group members who need to be flexible and work well with others.
Stuff like this is why games usually end by the 6th session.

I abandon ones I fear an emotional person will reply to, and usually I put more effort into thoroughly making such comments bulletproof to begin with, so I’m with OP.

I could understand how it would be helpful for the hearing impaired watching clearly-enunciated youtube videos, though. Should still hire professionals for movies.

I always run in private mode without retaining cookies, so I usually prefer apps for stuff like email so I don’t have to sign in every time. Yesterday I tried a new service that kept telling me “Sign into our app!” and I spent a frustratingly long time trying to find a download before realizing that’s just what they call their website.

I built one myself with diffusive plastic, a short throw projector, and a PS3 camera, and it ruled.
Wow that was crazy, this must be intended for not a cell phone.
I’ve seen maybe 3 passable figures by them. Mind boggling that they actually sell.
This is the one that gets me the most. We’re ten issues into this farming manga and the main character is being asked to kill god.
