It would create a conflict for Mon, being very close to her cousin, and funding Luthen, to have it result in Vel getting killed.

I’m a bit confused about the stuff with Saw Gerrera, the plan wasn’t to blowing up that tanker, but stealing the chemicals? What did the location of the attack have to do with the combinations of the attack, other than giving a reason for the traitor to get advanced knowledge of where the attack would be?

Presumably he was exposed to the toxic fumes as a kid and therefore is used to them and I guess that’s what causes his bad breathing in Rogue One? Or maybe something is going to go wrong in the next part that will cause his breathing issues?

Also totally expecting the next batch to have ISB get Syril into a situation where he’s killed, and used as an excuse for the empire coming with full force into Ghorman.

There are only 5 people who I expect to live through the entire series: Andor, Mon Mothma, Saw Gerrera, Bail Organa, and Krennic. Everyone else is fair game to get killed off.

Yup, that’s pretty much right. TBH, the Redis Cloud costs were pretty exorbitant for the tier we were on before the changes, and there had been internal discussion on moving away from them. AWS Valkey Serverless offering is significantly less expensive for the workload we needed across the hosted options, it didn’t make sense to continue paying double for Redis Cloud. If Redis’ goal with the license change was to get AWS to make it’s own thing, then I guess mission accomplished, but they threw the baby out with the bathwater IMO. Developers have jumped to Valkey, and it will take time to win them back, if that’s possible.

Yes, i didn’t mean to imply Trump is smart here, he is of course incredibly dumb. I think though that is how this works out for him, he says an incredibly dumb thing which people fixate on, and that gets the headlines. The horrible things he’s doing are then in articles below the fold, and he gets away with it.

My thoughts exactly. The news last year was what I needed to finally get off of Redis Cloud, and with AWS offering Valkey Serverless, we were able to make the costs work out to save money.

There’s no way Trump trusted Waltz after that, and probably thought Waltz was not loyal, going behind his back talking to journalists, which was the death knell for Waltz. As long as Hegseth proves and maintains his loyalty to Trump, he can keep fucking up. Loyalty is more important to Trump than competence.

I haven’t seen the other movies, but Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was actually pretty good, I’m glad it got made.

I feel like this is Trump trying to stretch the interview so he doesn’t have to talk about the economy for long. This part was painful to watch, and Terry Moran did try to get past arguing, but classic Trump got everyone talking about how he thinks the characters M S 1 3 are tattooed on his hands, rather than having a conversation about how crazy things are that just the fact you have tattoos will get you deported.
