transphobic company goes to transphobic company.

it’s gonna be horrible for the majority of netflix subscribers though since they’re basically subsidizing wwe at the cost of actual content (if you hated netflix cancelling shows before you’re definitely gonna hate it now)

Wow, that is an insane amount of money. And it’s kinda weird that Raw won’t be on cable anymore.

But honestly, I’m just glad they didn’t get a deal with WBD at this point.

@ImADifferentBird 100%. This is fucking historic in all sense of the word. This is gonna get Netflix the long term ongoing subscribers they want (ain’t no off season in pro wrestling), plus gets Netflix into the sports (entertainment) game. WWE getting off traditional television…crazy.

Also glad re: WBD. They don’t need both companies, let em shell out money for AEW/ROH stuff.

@kessleragain I’d be surprised otherwise. Every day that goes by is one day closer to traditional televisions eventual grave, that counter won’t be going backwards ever. With WWE making the big jump, if it proves successful we may see more.

My father in law was so sad to lose SmackDown from OTA TV. Man he’s going to be excited that he’ll be able to watch RAW now.
