Because they have theoretically dangerous jobs, that Americans indoctrination teaches are necessary for the American way of life.
It’s so stupid too. It’s not like they were drafted. They signed up for it willingly. They’re being compensated for it too, so it’s not like they’re volunteers either.
Because soldiers serve the country they are a citizen of.
That’s still fucking weird.
