The original Walkman has a 3.5mm jack. That’s how far back this standard has been in common use.
I can’t comprehend why anyone puts up with not having an audio jack.

i do have a cheap Samsung with a headphone jack
Redmagic 9 has it. Now I’m not saying it’s the greatest phone, but it does have a massive screen, a massive battery and that sweet headphone jack.
