I’d be terrified that the horse would accidentally step on me.
And you would have good reasons to be concerned about that.
They’re like big skiddish dogs that weigh 900 lbs. and have blindspots directly in front of and behind them. Startling a horse intentionally while you’re standing next to it is a good way to wind up in the ER.
I have blindspots behind me too, and although I can see ahead of myself, I can’t see what’s beside me.
Are you half a horse?
Interesting to me how the horse has a more technical sprinting technique.
It leans away from the direction it wants to spin in at first, loading a bunch of weight onto its front legs to shove off powerfully from. The people start leaning in the direction they want to go, away from their plant leg, which probably feels faster, but means their back legs can’t get the same push off the first step, basically wasting it.
It looked more to me like the horse wasn’t sure which way it wanted to go at first and hopped left before deciding to go right
Playing or not, it’s a superior way to accelerate from a stop.
It helps that the horse has two more legs than the women.
I learned that from watching cartoons. (Can’t seem to find an example right now.🙁)
Exactly. And everyone knows the real fastest is to hover in the air for a moment as you pump your legs.
