Comedian Lewis Black has a routine about “a Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks”. Apple Stores aren’t nearly as common.

Unless you’re in Glendale, California – where Apple Glendale Galleria is across the street from Apple The Americana at Brand.

Are there any other Apple Stores this close together?

The stores are less than 150 meters apart, but unfortunately they aren’t within sight of each other. As you exit Apple The Americana at Brand, you won’t see the other Apple Store — only a notably uncrowded Samsung Experience Store.

There are Apple Stores in Palo Alto CA that are approx 20 minute walking distance apart from each other. Pretty close but not 150 meters close.

The Glendale store was the very first Apple store, iirc. I could be there’re to close or remodel soon.

It makes sense why a Starbucks would be across the street from a Starbucks (coffee buyers are not, as a rule, brand-loyal, so they will go to the nearest/most easily accessible spot - so Starbucks grows like a weed to prevent other shops from taking the business of fickle customers). But two Apple Stores cheek to jowl… that’s weird.

I regularly go to these stores, and I wonder why they are so close. It’s handy since one or two times one store had something the other didn’t. It’s a bit more than just crossing the street but not much.

Galleria is in the second story inside an indoor mall. Americana is an outdoor mall, and they are even on the sides closer to each other.
