Big fan of antignocchi myself. It’s got that certain taste of total annihilation you can’t get anywhere else.
It’s actually happened.
To help describe the different particle configurations as you go into deeper and deeper layers of neutron stars - the way intense gravity plus pressure clumps the particles together - physicists have started referring to them as Gnocchi, Spaghetti and Lasagna.
Gnocchi are lumps of neutrons bunched together.
Spaghetti are strands of these Gnocchi.
Lasagna are sheets of these Spaghetti.Throw the atoms against the wall and if they stick it confirms spaghetti theory is ready.
Appalled they called it antignocci and not torrone, but I’m not going to argue
Torrone is not a pasta!
Besides, we scientists like to name things anti-something, it’s almost a compulsion.
Waffles aren’t pasta either
