La Huasteca on Plainfield has the best Mexican food in the state IMO. Been going there since like 2015 and they’ve never dropped in quality.

Check out TwoGuys Brewing! It is our favorite place, I’ve never had a bad meal there and the vibes are excellent. They’re in Wyoming at Porter & Byron Center, in an old 7-11.

I am not a fan of IPAs, personally, but their other beers are great. And I hear their IPAs are.

But oh man, that food is the true draw in my mind.

Try the Goonie Dip, it’s our favorite appetizer. It’s essentially deconstructed crap Rangoon. Crab cheese dip with wonton crisp chips.

Also a big fan of the burgers, the truffle fries, and the Thai flatbread. But don’t sleep on the specials, they’re always good too!

Honestly I’ve tried a lot of their menu and have never been disappointed.

We went to Max’s South Seas Hideaway a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is cool and it has a great menu.

Los Mariscos de Pancho at 1358 Leonard Street NW. It’s a great hidden gem that serves amazing sea food and brilla tacos.

I’ve been obsessed with KCM lately. The chicken katsu curry is amazing. I’m always surprised at how few people are there when I go. They have really good reviews on Google, but any time I recommend it to someone they have never heard of it.
