      I don’t use recipes when I cook and adjust based on taste but I’m sure you can find an easy recipe if you google the title.

      I cooked the rice cakes in a frying ban in water until they were soft. I ended up draining them and rinsing because there was just a little too much starch.

      The sauce is gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar and corn syrup. Sometimes people use ketchup for the sweetness, or just sugar. Sesame oil is also a common ingredient and it does add a nice earthiness, but I am avoiding oil.
