Episode 76: A Gathering of Heroes
Last we left off, Bell’s Hells, in trying to gather answers to mysteries, and possible power advantages in the coming conflict with the Ruby Vanguard, and Ludinus Da’leth and his cronies, sought to look into the past of Ashton, as well as some unanswered questions that may lie within the Shattered Teeth.
Traveling there, you befriended a ghost ship, and helped bring romance together.
You wandered through the dangerous misty jungles, you spoke to Evontra’vir, the Great Tree of Atrophy, and learned more about the titan blood that flows in your veins, and were sent to where a remaining shard of one of the great Primordial Titans still currently resides hidden and uncollected.
There, you delved through the very tight mountainous caverns beneath the mountain where it is held. You went to the lava pool, and retrieved both Ashton and Fearne together within the depths of its molten rock.
The last remaining spark of Rau’shan.
And also seemed to draw the attention of Ludinus, and some traveling, magically traveling associates. Battle ensued, in which you managed to free Fearne from what seemed to be a intended grasp at having a hostage, and after defeating what seemed Ludinus, though eager to throw himself into the lava, other than give you information, and maybe not at the full power you’ve expected, you took this fraction with you.
Bruised, but stalwart, you took the staff of Ludinus, and decided to teleport your troop to Whitestone in hopes that the repaired harness from Ludinus’ past might be the answer to unlocking the power of not one, but two Primordial Titan shards that are within your grasp.
As part of the teleportation spell, you now drift through the magical ether of Exandria.

I much prefer this new animated intro to the rotoscoped one. Fun to see BH in motion. The eyes do kind of throw me a bit.
Same! Animation is always great
Why is this downvoted? :|
Not me, but I imagine people didn’t like the thumbnail
Just my luck. If they’re just downvotes with no feedback, I guess it’s not that serious. They’re forgotten with a happy song.
Is that the official thumbnail for the episode?
It’s supposed to be Chetney’s 200+ year old butt with an overly generous filter. Travis revealed last episode that his track suit would keep him warm and even says “Juicaayyy”. I was worried it was a bit much, but I would also like to think Chetney would be secure and inclusive enough to use this pic on a superficial instagram. I usually use something related to the previous episode. Is it that bad?
Edit: Changed it.
Edit2: Changed back (I must embrace the failure, should it come, and learn from it)
Potential thumbs for episode 77
It’s not bad.
It’s perfect.

Coppers are more of an insult call back
That was a nice subtle callback all the way to episode 1 of the campaign. It’s also more of an insult to organized religion than gods themselves, to keep in sync with the “punk rock” aesthetic that Taliesin is going for.

Woohoo new animated intro!
Did they put perineums/gooch blossoms on that portal?!
I couldn’t figure out what it was about Marisha’s costume that threw me off and I assumed it was the big blonde wig, but no.
It’s those eyebrows!
Sam even calls her Tilda.
Fun Fact: A banister is a railing that is not attached to a wall for it’s primary support. If it’s attatched to a wall, it’s called a balustrade

- (-■_■) YYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Yeah I thought it in the wall it just a hand rail…if it is acting as top part of a “fence” in its own right then banister.
You can tell Matt’s friends enjoy his stories.
I think even if the maleous key was destroyed and the bridge severoud (trapping evreyone on ruidois) then Ludicrous could still free pedathos from there to go get the gods.
With the gathering of the three campaigns, there’s likely a big “the cavalry has arrived!” moment, not unlike the infamous Endgame scene. Just gotta snap something into place to restore resurrection and teleportation (reliably) to turn the tide.
The inclusion of the EXU is what I keep an eye out for lately, and there may be something. The description of the abandoned cities reminded me of the BBEG of Campaign 2, and that threw me off because I lumped them together and forgot about it.- The creation (or re-creation) of civilization was entrusted to an Eisfuura named Maya in an object that stored the knowledge of Patia Por’co, Archmage of the Librarium Incantatum.
- Maya’s mother was a renowned scientist, which would give credence to much of the ancient and unknown magic-infused tech at the crux of many storylines.
- A lifetime on a continent of strife where the prime deities are fighting the betrayer gods for an unknown amount of time is the fuel for the inspiration of the new society Maya gets to create. I can see why she might want to set something up to smack the gods around.
- Perhaps the abandoned cities are connected in that they are failed attempts at the massive and complex goal of creating an entire societal infrastructure without the society. Just by using magic and the design of a few people who (certainly must have) had the best intentions.
I think you’re right about the bridge not being crucial to releasing Predathos. I’d like to see Vax in the big fight and being a champion of the Raven Queen hopefully spares him from elimination if the Maleous Key is destroyed.
As for another way to the moon, I was thinking they could try to find where Maya and the rest of the Agrupnin family teleport to. The only location I see listed for ‘where’ is Gwessar. That’s just the Elvish name for Taldorei, the entire continent.
I think alluras allies on wildemount is more likely yussa than most of the m9 who she only met once although maybe got more in with Caleb after. Did she ever meet essek?
How do new generations (as mentioned by Percy) even work when age can vary so. I think Chetney is probably generation older, even relative, to Percy but all others are younger for their race.
