A Missouri high school teacher says she has been placed on leave after officials discovered that she was performing on a pornography website to supplement her salary.

Brianna Coppage, 28, who taught English at St. Clair High School, says her teaching days are probably over, but she acknowledged she knew the risks.

Coppage told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she was put on leave on Wednesday after being interviewed by two administrators. Her access to school email and other software was suspended while the district investigates, she said.

“It was kind of always like this cloud hanging over my head, like I never knew when I would be discovered,” Coppage said in an interview. “Then, about two weeks ago, my husband and I were told that people were finding out about it. So I knew this day was coming.”

You know, if these schools are going to refuse to pay teachers enough to live on, maybe they shouldn’t be so uptight about where those teachers get their supplemental income from. 😒

She taught English to freshmen and sophomores and made about $42,000 last year, according to the newspaper’s public pay database. She said she’s earned an additional $8,000 to $10,000 per month performing on OnlyFans.

The fact that teachers have to do porn to survive is telling that conservative society is fucked.

Because the conservative boomers are all retired, with fully owned homes, and don’t know what things cost these days.

Lol as a teenager who had an attractive teacher for a class, I don’t know if you understand what they’re saying.

Teenagers are kids. Kids are, by their very nature, stupid. If they know said teacher is actively publishing content to an OF, they are absolutely going to find said content. It’s just a whole mess for all parties involved.

Adults should absolutely be able to live their lives, but accept that kids are kids and kids do stupid shit.

On the surface I agree but these are teenagers. What do you think the chances are of one of them subbing to her account and requesting her to make custom videos for them 😂 I would say pretty damn high. Hell it’s still probably going to happen but at least the kids won’t be sitting in class while watching videos of their teacher getting fucked.

Have you ever been around highschool kids?.. They’re definitely going to make it a problem if they find out.

Eh, deal with it. I’d rather have a moonlighting teacher than an unqualified one. At least this teacher was smart enough to not settle for $42k/year.

I agree. She can’t continue teaching high school or probably even middle school boys once this comes out. She’d probably be fine teaching elementary age kids. There’d be a lot more dads attending parent-teacher conferences so it might even be a positive thing.

Why not? We need to stop treating sex workers like they are subhuman. The fact that parents aren’t monitoring their childrens internet behavior isn’t a reason to limit another person’s career prospects if they chose to monetize their bodies past or present.

As long as the teacher in question isn’t advertising her pornographic career or material to her students then why can’t she continue to teach and earn money on the side as long as she’s not bringing it into the classroom?

If one wanted to view this material to form their own opinion, where would one go to do this? Obviously this would be only for the purpose of confirming that these allegations are accurate and also deciding whether or not this constitutes any sort of suspendable offense.

Hell yeah. We should put all attractive teachers on leave in fact, since high schoolers have a hard enough time navigating society without the added complication of an attractive authority figure thrown in.

In fact, may as well put the ugly ones on leave as well, since those might be some people’s preferences as well.

Eunuchs and robots are out, again might be a kink. Self led learning should go too, since they may be a narcissist and get off on the thought of themselves being in charge.

May as well not teach them, since they may have a learning kink.

I see a huge problem. Since it didn’t involve the school. Or violate anyone’s consent. The school should keep their mouth fucking shut unless they have something to actually criticize her for that’s relevant. Such as her ability to teach. Which isn’t what they’re doing.

But as a Missourian our state embarrassing us must mean it’s a day ending in Y.
