The idea that an entire republic is dependent upon the unaddressable interpretations and integrity of 12 priests in robes, priests whom are not democratically elected or accountable to the people, is an absurdity.
Conservatives have wanted to gut the Fed with a bowie knife since fucking Andrew Jackson, so this isn’t a blunder to them.
Good, it should be under democratic control, like it was in the New Deal era. The problem isn’t the loss of Wall Street’s power over the Fed, it’s that Trump is in power.
Why expect consistency from the courts starting now or in the future?
