    And the best option for the Democrats as a party that wants power is to cater to the middle and be inoffensive, driving this entire thing into a loop where little of value gets done.

    For my part, I see little difference when the choice is between fascists and collaborators. A stab in the front or a stab in the back.

    Either way the fascists are winning.

      both sides bullshit makes me mad. no, democrats aren’t the same, and you would know that if you had any skin in the game whatsoever. democrats aren’t trying to genocide trans people. democrats aren’t engaging in widespread voter suppression. democrats aren’t trying to get rid of popular social programs that help millions of people. democrats aren’t pushing for the subjugation of women. republicans are doing that shit. you have to either be completely unaware of the vast social harm being done by republican legislators nationwide or uncaring of the millions of lives under active threat by republican policy to maintain that kind of smooth-brained political cowardice.
