So basically i have plans to visit countries and i wanna hear your guys thoughts, what countries do you recommend for visiting?
Iceland. One of the most beautiful, weird, friendly places I’ve ever visited.
My vote is for Iceland too! If you fly their airline, you get to stay there without paying the cost of airfare any time you are flying between Europe & the USA, by turning your layover into a “stopover.” It’s 100% worth taking advantage of! Plus, shorter plane flights on either end :)
The Netherlands. Also one of the most-beautiful, friendly, weird places I’ve ever visited.
Depends on what you’re looking for and what languages you speak.
Beautiful scenery: Sweden, Switzerland, Canada
Japan and Korea are both lovely and fun. Only speaking English is a challenge but not insurmountable. I got around and had fun in both.

Definitely. It’s beautiful. The people are so kind. Food is amazing. So much to see and experience. Great for family vacations. Don’t believe the movie hype; the seedy stuff is only in the red light districts of a few cities.

First of all, we’re the largest country in the world that isn’t at war for literally no good reason.
Second, we are really big. Not just big: we are utterly, immensely VAST. I haven’t even seen all that this country has to offer yet, and I live here. This absolves you from needing to see everything there is. It just can’t be done :) So you get to choose: Mountains? Oceans? Prairies? Rugged arctic landscapes that will chill you to the bone just to look at them? We got 'em! We even have a desert. I have no idea why we have a desert, but we do. We’re just overachievers that way. We have the world’s highest tides (yay Atlantic Canada) and the most adorable lighthouses and cottages you’ve ever seen. Yes that’s in Nova Scotia, the most unnecessarily pretty place I’ve ever visited. Must be nice to live there, I tell you. Small towns, big cities, and places where you can yell as loud as you want and only mildly annoy the wildlife.
Third, and most importantly, Canadians are generally pretty nice people. (Even the ones that watch too much American media can still be okay on a good day.) Case in point: let’s say it’s fall of 2001 and things suddenly go historically insanely crazy, what do you do? You stay for a few weeks in Newfoundland and end up as the setting for a really great stage musical, that’s what.
Best of all, you don’t have to take my word for it : come see for yourself.
I’m probably going to get a lot of shit for this, but the US. There’s an unbelievable amount of variety between the different states in terms of culture, scenery, things to do, etc. Pick a state (some are better than others) and go have a blast.
Argentina, because it stole my heart the first time I went there and has never returned it. Though it is an economic disaster, and lots of people are hurting :\

Ive liked several cities in Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice) and they all kind of have their own vibes. Also very accommodating to tourists the three times Ive been.
Uruguay
Seconding Iceland. I also like a lot of Central Europe, Czech republic, Hungary, Poland, their history isn’t something I feel I was taught in school or by TV so everything I learned there felt brand new, plus they’re stunning.
