Americans will do literally anything to avoid eating more fiber
They replaced the foods with crap. A lot of people can’t afford vegetables and fruit and there are people living in food deserts who only have access to a family dollar for shopping.
It’s a real problem and they just cut all the funding to help get healthier food into these places.

Beans and not pooping for three days?
Around the time of the first Reddit exodus there was the person who said they needed to not poo for three days and was wondering what to do about it. Then there were bean memes but that’s not really unique to Lemmy. Recently there was the one where everyone made German jokes because Americans can’t read them when we come online.
Hmm it feels like there should be a red body down there…
Why make it so short
I experienced a poop knife in real life. In Boy Scouts, there’s a thing where you can go sail in a boat off the coast of Florida for a week. When the captain explained the rules, he talked about a stash of disposable knives in the head (bathroom).
Basically, he had issues with kids trying to hold their poops until they got to the mid-week stop on shore. They wouldn’t make it and ended up clogging the 30 foot boat’s plumbing with their product, so he explained that if we took a big enough shit we had to cut it up before flushing.
They make toilets with an automatic poop knife.
Or you could just shit in the garbage disposal

Imagine giving these to someone as a present
Invite them over. Make a cake. Wait to frost the cake until they’re there. Frost Cake with a new clean poop knife. Eat cake. Gift poop knife while licking frosting off the clean knife. Wait for realizations.
