I came to a post on this community where a user said that a certain community was zionist. But their comment was really long and I wasn’t sure if it had been removed for that or something else. So I wanted to test it myself.
I went to that community and posted something that’s only offensive to zionists. My post was pro-jewish and anti-zionist, so there was no way to confuse it as meaning something else. I wanted to see what would happen. Either it would get removed for zionist reasons, get removed for other reasons, or stay up. That would answer my question. It got removed because the mod said they felt rage baited. That answered my question. I linked the post and the modlog here as evidence, to share my findings. Now everyone knows for sure whether that community is zionist.
What I wasn’t expecting is Ada’s response. She said in the modlogs she also felt the post was rage bait. I didn’t see that coming because I didn’t think Ada was a zionist. I thought she would be fine with seeing zionists get angry, because they get angry over the most mild things.
Is Ada supporting zionism?
You’re the one that broke the rules though?
I do actually like you, we’ve had some good interactions, but then you called Ada a zionist?? If you’re this opposed to her trying to keep the peace between instances by preventing rage bait, no matter the topic, maybe a different instance would be better for you? Like I’ve said, I’m very anti-zionist but I agree with her moderation here.
Wasn’t rage bait and didn’t break the rules. The europe community doesn’t have a rule against anti-zionism. Blahaj doesn’t have a rule against checking if remote mods abuse their power. Didn’t break the peace, the conflict was over in minutes and Ada never had any work to do about it.
And besides,
There is no peace while they’re killing children. I didn’t disturb the peace. I disturbed the war. For a few seconds. If everyone disturbed the war for a few seconds, there wouldn’t be a war. They wouldn’t get away with it.
I don’t understand why it makes you angry when I say these things. When I say it’s fine and Ada didn’t have to do anything. I see your anger and it’s the protective kind. Good girls get angry to protect others. But who are you protecting from me saying that Ada is safe? Nothing bad happened to her and nothing bad was going to happen. Why is that scary?
You literally questioned if Ada is supporting zionism in the OP :(
I support your ideals, but if you want to disturb the war you should get out to protests in your community if you’re able too.
I questioned her because she timed me out for making zionists angry. Turns out, she thought I might be a troll. But there’s no such thing as trolls who pretend to be anti-zionist. She was getting scared of nothing. She wasn’t in danger. She created her own stress by punishing anti-zionism. The way for you to protect her is to tell her to stop being so scared.
I don’t want the instance swamped with pro-zionists that make her job hard though…
No risk of that. The community mod removed the post very quickly. I thought that would probably happen. If they didn’t, no problem. It was a very hard post to argue with. Zionists don’t have arguments for it. Not even bad ones. There was no danger. Worst thing that could possibly happen is Ada overreacting.
I don’t think she overreacted by simply timing you out…
If she’d done nothing, nothing would have happened. Nothing was wrong. She thought something was wrong and she made me think something was wrong. I had to ask if she was a zionist. If she hadn’t cared about making zionists angry, it wouldn’t have been unclear. She was afraid of zionists and made conflict with an anti-zionist to avoid conflict with zionists. Conflict that wasn’t going to happen.
They trick us into arguing with each other using fear. They manipulate us with the threat of violence. We argue with each other because we don’t want to fight them. It’s not good. No more fear please. We can be strong. We can be good and brave girls.
Okay, I’ll be brave with you.
