    I finally crumbled and started watching Discovery a few weeks ago. It’s exactly as awful as I expected it would be and now I’m speed hatewatching it just to be done with it as fast as I can.

      I don’t remember having a lot of expectations of Discovery, but I was looking forward to having more Star Trek! Unfortunately it was so far different from what I enjoy that I’ve never gotten farther than season 2 or 3.
