I’m looking for something to introduce my wife to. Something light and funny. Not rule-havy, something that don’t really on knowledge of the previous episode. And something without a lot of stylized or archaic speech. We are non-natives, so we get lost when they go full-shekspearian. Preferably something with regulars from make some noise and game changer to increase the familiarity.

I know, there was “where to start” published like a minute ago. But I applicate your experiences.

Thanks for the help!

@Ideonek I don’t think there are any true one-shots, but the first season (and it fully stands on its own) of Misfits and Magic is only 4 episodes. It’s extremely accessible, though it makes fun of the Harry Potter universe a bit, so knowledge of that is helpful. The players are Dropout regulars Lou, Brennan, and Erika, plus Danielle Radford, and GMed by Aabria.

It uses a pretty rules-light system (Kids on Brooms) in a twist on a famous setting. Easy to get into and ton of fun.

I think Mentopolis is pretty accessible for similar reasons, but replace the familiar setting with Hank Green
